Marco works as Publication Manager for the Ophthalmology and Allergy & Immunology portfolio at Karger Publishers. Additionally, he holds the role of co-Lead within Karger’s internal Open Science Task Force. Marco’s career has been marked by a continuous passion for innovation and peer review advancement. In his previous positions he worked as Journal Development Editor for UCL Press and Biomed Central/Springer Nature in London and as Managing Editor at Elsevier in Amsterdam. Marco holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial biotechnology from the Università Statale Milano-Bicocca.
